Carys was one of the last daughters of CH. Tamar Clement and was a prolific prizewinner and milker for all of her life. She yielded 8.0 kilos at peak and was capable of extremely long lactations.

She last kidded as a 7 year old and then milked on for another 5½ years giving more than 10,000 kilos of milk during that period and winning the Malpas Melba cup for highest milk recorded lifetime yield.
